Ryan is a devoted Christian, who has been happily married to his beautiful wife, Rebecca, for nearly two decades. He has 5 kids: Cody, Ayden, Ava, Isaac, and Asher. As a family they love to spend time together, and in the summer their favorite is being on their boat tubing, fishing and swimming. Ryan is also an avid sports fan and roots for the Minnesota Vikings and MN Wild.
Ryan started out in the exterior remodeling industry as a siding laborer in 1995. After learning everything he could, he decided to branch out on his own. He applied for a small loan to get his own equipment and started subcontracting. When one of his close friends needed his roof, siding and windows replaced, Ryan did the siding himself and worked with roofing and window crews to get the job done in a timely manner. After the job was completed, Ryan came to the realization that he had found his calling to manage projects.
After 10 years of success in business together, Ryan bought out his brother-in-law in 2015 and is now the sole owner of NexGen Exteriors, Inc. In 2017 Ryan expanded his company to add a commercial division that includes associations, multifamily properties, hotels, and new construction projects. As a business owner, Ryan believes in fairness, equality, and hard work.
In 2019, Ryan’s oldest son Cody joined the business and worked closely with his father to learn the ins and outs of the industry. Ryan believes in treating our customers the way we would want to be treated, supporting those who are less fortunate, and providing quality services under all circumstances.
Christina is our Director of Finance & Operations and keeps things running smoothly all day long! Christina’s prior experience is in the transportation industry but came to work for NexGen Exteriors in 2020.
Christina moved to Minnesota from Texas, where she was born and raised. She came to visit with her daughter Jewel and fell in love with the scenery. The only thing that she isn’t fond of is the snow – but with her Texas roots, it’s not surprising.
Christina has a Bachelor of Science in business management. She achieved her bachelors degree in two years while raising a toddler! She excels in time management, has an eager willingness to learn, and a teamwork attitude which makes her a great asset to the NexGen team!
In her free time, Christina loves to spend time exploring nature and photography, gardening, and drinking her favorite wine.
Born and raised in the Minneapolis suburbs, Amanda graduated from Blaine High School and was accepted into the pre-med program at the University of Wisconsin. During college, she was lucky enough to travel the world with her active duty husband.
Upon returning stateside, she and her husband decided to come back home to Minnesota to raise their family. Amanda has two boys that keep them busy running around to school and sporting events.
Outside of work, Amanda enjoys downhill skiing, being outdoors, and watching romantic comedies. Her talent is second to none when it comes to creativity and graphic design. Amanda is a loyal, energetic, and compassionate person with a proven track record of success. Between her human resource training, operational development expertise, and her excellent ability to manage projects, she is a critical member of our NexGen team.
Michael has been in the exterior remodeling industry helping homeowners navigate through this process for over a decade. He started out as a salesman, then moved up to a sales manager and is now the General Manager at NexGen. He understands that owning a home is a big investment and that is what makes him so passionate about helping homeowners remodel their homes. Michael has two sons that he loves to spend time with. Together they like to spend time outside hunting and fishing. He also loves to be a big kid and takes his youngest to Chuck E Cheese.
Meet Andy Peters, a Senior Estimator at NexGen Exteriors, Inc. Andy has been a member of the NexGen team since March 2022. Andy started as a roofing technician during summers in high school, worked his way up to a sheet metal technician, and then went to Dunwoody where he obtained his associate degree in drafting and estimating. Andy truly cares about our customers and aims to give them the best value possible while working within their budget. He goes above and beyond to ensure his customers are satisfied with every facet of their project, from design to closeout documentation. And he’s sure to provide some laughs along the way!
Hailey was an awesome addition to the NexGen team in 2022. She brought extensive experience in deck installs with her and we are very lucky to have someone so detail oriented and dedicated on our team! Hailey was born and raised in Minnesota, and attended St. Cloud University for environmental engineering.
Hailey has three kids that keep her on her toes and share in her addiction to adopting animals! When not at NexGen, Hailey loves spending her time at the gym, hunting, fishing, snowboarding, or just being out in nature.
Andrea works in our supplement department and supports all our customers insurance claim communication with the Insurer. Originally from Brooklyn Park, MN, Andrea graduated from Park Center High School and went on to pursue a College degree from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus. Andrea is a loving mother of two amazing children, has two beautiful large dogs and two cats. Andrea started her career in education working with children from Pre-K to 9th grade. Andrea has the patience of a Saint! She worked with these kids to build patterns, establish moral and watch them soar. As a kindergarten teacher for 9 years, and a supervisor of youth care programs for over 200 students, she puts compassion into everything she does. Andrea is a top-notch committed employee and is a true blessing to the NexGen team! After two decades in the education system she fell in love with someone in insurance industry where she learned a passion for Xactimate. She quickly became a Certified Supplementer in July of 2022. Andrea has an excellent track record in protecting our customers. On an average claim, she has a 98% success in ensuring NexGen customers are properly covered within their policy limits. Her attention to detail, her technical knowledge, and love of construction law are just a few reasons why you should trust Andrea with your insurance claim, Andrea is truly one of the best in the industry!! In her free time, Andrea is a diehard Vikings fan, loves watching and going to sporting events, gardening, baking, reading, traveling, and being outside with loved ones. When we asked Andrea what she loved the most about her job, she said “I love working at NexGen, the people are amazing! Every day we learn new things together and most of all - making customers homes whole again after damage strikes just feels good!”.

John has been in the commercial and residential exterior remodeling business for 21 years. He started in the exterior remodeling business at a young age, working as a crew manager and installer for a close friend. John stayed in the industry because he truly enjoys helping homeowners achieve their dreams while exceeding their expectations. His attention to detail ensures that every home is finished with complete homeowner satisfaction. John strives for perfection in every project.
John chose to join the NexGen team because he believes in the principles, ethics, and the above and beyond customer service that NexGen stands for. He truly enjoys being a part of a team that cares not only about their homeowner’s to the highest extent, but also their employees in the same regard.
In his spare time, John enjoys spending time with his wife, Karina, and doing activities with her three boys, Trenton, Easton, and Kolton. John enjoys fishing, hunting and working on his own home improvement projects. During the winter season, you will most likely find John on a frozen lake ice fishing.

Ben started out in the construction industry as a junior in high school through an apprenticeship program and now has 25+ years in the trade. NexGen is grateful to have him on board with his ability to set clear expectations on commercial sites, his strong determination and his positive attitude.
Ben was born and raised in Minnesota and graduated from Monticello High School. He has one son that is a freshman at Augsburg University and is having a blast playing basketball for them. In his free time Ben enjoys boating, soft and hard water fishing, basketball, and hanging out up north as much as possible!

Justin Barber is a key asset to our Commercial team as a Project Manager. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Finance with 8yrs of sales and project management experience as well as 7yrs of experience in field work. Justin is a well-rounded professional who adds value to our team everyday through continual improvement and technical knowledge. Growing up in Burnsville MN, Justin spent a lot of time playing all different kinds of sports. He was a master on the ballfield through High School and College. Justin is truly a champion at work, at home, and in what he sets his mind to. In his down time he enjoys golfing, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his beautiful family. When we asked Justin what he loves the most about his job, he said “NexGen Exteriors has been a blessing to me. The work environment & culture is the best that I have ever witnessed in my career. With a top-of-the-line training facility and offering so many opportunities to grow, this is a place I am blessed to call home. NexGen truly takes care of it’s employees and my family is forever grateful to the leadership team for allowing us to fulfill our success stories.”
Cody is proud to be the second generation working at NexGen. As a kid he was always listening in on his Dad’s phone calls with homeowners. That sparked an interest in the family business. It is only natural for him to follow in his Dad’s footsteps by joining the NexGen team. Having a sales background, as well as his Dad’s coaching, has started to shape Cody into the salesman he strives to become. Cody loves being able to talk with and build relationships with new people every day. He is also happy to have the bonus of working outside during the spring and summer. When he’s not working, Cody enjoys fishing and working on cars.

Jeremy is an outstanding Senior Project Manager at NexGen Exteriors. He is hardworking, loyal and focused on his customers. Jeremy joined NexGen with a lifetime of experience in the construction and building industry. He owned a small home improvement remodelling business where he expanded his skills in customer engagement from building relationships, thorough planning and project execution, and has an eye for exterior design. His experience installing is an integral part of why Jeremy stands out from the crowd ensuring even the smallest details are of superior quality. In Jeremy’s first year of working in the roofing industry, he generated over 2 million in sales demonstrating unmatched work ethic and is always willing to help others. In 2024 Jeremy serves as a team leader to others at NexGen and is committed to excellence for all of our customers. It is a true blessing to work with Jeremy and you can trust that he will go above and beyond to ensure our customers receive high quality products and service each and every time!
