I used NexGen Exteriors in 2025. I wanted to get information on roofing & siding but I didn’t know much about it all. Jeremy came to give me an estimate on the work that could be done and he answered all of my questions thoroughly and in a very kind, patient manner. Once the work began the crew worked very hard and efficiently to get the job done. During the process, yes my yard looked like a disaster with all the materials and tools needed spread out everywhere. With that said, they did a fantastic job cleaning up afterwards to my satisfaction and to ensure there was nothing left behind that could harm my dogs. Everyone I talked to within this business (I’m sorry I don’t remember all their names) was very kind, friendly, professional and made me feel confident I made the right choice with NexGen. I had my roof installed by NexGen and the whole experience was great. Cody was professional, knowledgeable, and always straightforward with me. He kept me updated, explained everything clearly, and made sure the project stayed on track. The crew did excellent work and cleaned up perfectly. You can tell NexGen really cares about their customers. Highly recommend working with them—and ask for Cody!

The workmanship is top-notch— our house looks like a brand new house! From start to finish Nick and Cody were professional and knowledgeable and made the process so simple and hassle free for me. Would highly recommend using Nick and Cody to family and friends!

After numerous failed attempts to find someone to repair/replace two large skylights we found NexGen / Chris Scharmer- what an amazing guy and company ! From day one Chris was on top of things and always available with explanations n answers 👍👍 a very kind , thoughtful, professional person to work with. Bob Glick was also very helpful in lining up the installation team 👍 After a minor delay the 2 skylights were removed and replaced by a team of talented n professional guys 👍 and no more battery operated shades - we have solar powered shades that are awesome! Aaron was our sales person . He was energetic and guided us through the process effortlessly. But it wasn’t just Aaron it was the entire experience with Next Gen and their process. The communication from the install team was fabulous. And when the roof was done, you did not even know they were there . My husband is never wanting to do anything to the house because of the intrusion to our daily life . Aaron and the entire team made it a pleasure . And I got a roof color I liked !

Nexgen was incredible from start to finish. We had a bad tornado come through and the hail damaged our roof bad. We had people knocking on our door non stop for days trying to get our business. All of them gave us the same pitch of just let us take a look and then sign this contract and we can get you taken care of. None of those companies explained anything of how the process worked or what we were going to pay or even what we were signing. Then Amanda and Aaron from Nexgen showed up. They saw the chalk marks on our roof left from the nsurance adjuster and they just simply asked if there was anything they could do to help or if we had already been taken care of. then they explained their product. We set up a time to meet and go over things. During that time my mom passed away and I had to leave town for a couple weeks. Amanda swung by our house and dropped off a card and candy for my kids because they had just lost their grandma. (They didn’t even have my business yet) they just gave a crap. Well let’s move forward to building day. They showed up on time with everything g needed to complete the job. They tore my roof off and found that the sheathing was toast. It had 6” gaps between boards and was just not ok. They took tons of pictures of everything and They fought and got the majority of that extra expense covered by my insurance. The roof is beautiful. The crew they had at my house was incredibly professional and even laughed with my kids while they were cleaning up. I was aware of everything every step of the way but it took zero effort on my part for any planning or anything with my insurance. I would recommend these guys to anyone needing any type of work done. Hands down a great experience in a crappy unexpected Time. Thanks Aaron, Amanda and team for everything you have done for my family. Happy to call you guys friends now.

Aaron worked with me getting my roof replaced. He went up and saw what other people didn't and helped me get the ball rolling on getting my roof replaced. My insurance only wanted to cover half my roof... but after a little over a year Aaron battled with the insurance company and got me my full roof replaced! I appreciate Aaron for all the effort he put in! I would recommend Aaron to anyone looking to get work done at their house! Thanks bro!!

Thanks Travis and NG for helping us transform the exterior of our home, we love it! Travis and their team really helped with navigating the insurance side of things, after experiencing hail damage. Aug 1,2025 Today Tim & Nick finished the install of our 10 windows. Can’t say enough about these guys. We had some big challenges & they both powered thru them with ease and professionalism. They left things so clean (maybe even cleaner than they found it😄). Also want to mention how beautiful Walsh windows are (made in MN). A big thank you to all the NexGen employees for helping us thru this stressful yet rewarding process. I can’t hank you enough for taking such good care of us along with so many others in our community, many of which are my personal clients.

Aaron(sales), Aaron(roofing) and Brett(siding) were great to work with start to finish. Work was better than expected and happy we chose them to help with hail damage to roof and siding. Communication throughout the process was outstanding.

I met with Nick Decheine on a roof repair and a price on a replacement of a flat roof. I have say that I have dealt with several roofing companies in my past 40 year. Nick was great to work with, Very attentive to my needs and very professional. I will do all my future business with Nick. My repair was taken care of and I had a follow up call from Nick to make sure everything went smoothly. I will be moving forward with the flat roof replacement in the very near future.

NexGen was great to work with. As professional as they come. Chris Scharmer is awesome. Easy to work with and will get you what you need all within your budget. Nick and Tim were phenomenal installing the windows and doors. Efficient but detailed and professional. And the roofing and siding crews…wow do they work hard. Non stop and very detailed. I recommend this company to anybody!

Met Brian at our cabin up in North Central Minnesota. He was in the area checking local roof for storm damage. Our cabin was in good shape. I did mention that I had a garage that needed a new roof in the Twin Cities. I set up an appointment for him to take a look and get us a quote. NexGen and Brian are top notch. I had 2 other quotes that were a bit high. Brian and NexGen came in right at my budget, if not even a bit below. We were fighting weather, but the roof was replaced efficiently and was very affordable. I highly recommend NexGen. It was a great experience, and the roof looks amazing.

Since Travis started with us on our insurance claims last April, and I want to mention he never left us on our own to navigate our claim and dreaded paperwork, we have been blessed with continued professional and respectful service from NEXGEN. We are almost done with the last step to transform our home, only a slight glitch with our screen order, which we have every confidence will be dealt with ASAP. We can't say enough about our experience with NEXGEN, it was as good as you can get! We are following up our review now on May 28th, 2025 as our work has been completed. We want to give a BIG shout out to TIM. He has worked so hard for us to get our window dilemma solved. He has been on top of the problems and didn't quit til he got them solved, and all in a timely manner. Thank you Tim, you were so appreciated! I'll also add that NEXGEN would not accept our final payment UNTIL they got our problem fixed to our satisfaction. A show of a company that puts their customer's needs first!

NexGen has been awesome to work with. Cody has been so professional, knowledgeable, and most importantly fair. The work on my elderly father's house was done on time and anything that needed attention was quickly taken care of. Of course dealing with State Farm wasn't easy, but they still handled the job with ease. I highly recommend this company. You can tell by their reviews that they are doing the job right from beginning to end.

Choosing NextGen to replace my roof was the best decision I've made so far this year! Brian C. was my salesman and he really knows his business. I chose a color and Brian pointed out several reasons that a different color might work better, I went with his suggestion for roof and soffits/facia and I couldn't be happier with the results. Stunning, actually. I had two different crews doing the installs and both crews were very professional and amazingly quick! Roof was completed in one day, soffits/facia took two days but only because it kept raining and I didn't want anyone getting electrocuted while standing on scaffolding LOL. They did several sweeps around the house for nails which I appreciated. You will not regret choosing NextGen.

From start to finish the crew at NexGen killed it!! Aaron got us lined up, dealt with my insurance, explained to me who was coming and when, and made sure everything went to plan!! The only surprise was the amount of speed and accuracy the team worked!! They were finished and cleaned up before most people would be home from work! To be totally honest, roofs are not that exciting, but this roof looks amazing!!!! Also, after work cleanup was second to NONE! I think everyone in the crew took a turn looking for ground nails! I am extremely happy with my experience, and the outcome, in dealing with Aaron, his crew and NexGen. YES, have them do your roof!

Needed to get a new 3rd garage stall shingles, had multiple others bailout on me. From phone call to install was less than a week. Install is perfect. Couldn't be more happywith the service and work. 2 man crew was in and done in less than 4 hrs.

Unfortunately, we had some interior water damage that occurred during the installation. They sent AJ Terano to fix and paint the ceilings to perfection.
